Trustpower Supreme Award goes to Woodville Lions CLub

The Lions won the Supreme Award at the Trustpower Tararua Community Awards. The Club will represent the district at the National Awards.  They have built up two iconic regional events (Coast to Coast Motorcycle Ride & Track & Tunnel Walk) and raised over $112,00 for the Palmerston North Rescue Helicopter and cancer services in the district.

The Lions Club also undertake activities such as firewood for the elderly, a junior speech contest, Christmas Parade and assist with other community activities
