Holiday Activities in Woodville & Pahiatua

Help wanted to make our town Christmas Decorations

Last year, local people made unique decorations by hand.  You can help make more unique Woodville Christmas decorations this year.  Be at the Old Folks Hall on Saturday 25 June from 1:00pm to 4:00pm.  Bring your hands and your brain.  There will be a mid winter afternoon tea with christmas cake and hot savouries.

Side Street Gallery opens Friday 26 February 2016

Side Street Gallery opens on Friday 26 February at 67 Vogel Street.  Nicks wonderful works of art all tell a story, plan to spend some time there hearing about these fascinating works of art.  Open Friday to Sunday 10:00am - 4:00pm or by arrangement.  Phone 06 3765 357

  

 

Public Welcome

Wednesday 24th February.  A public welcome to Filip Trnka.  

 

Filip is our Czech Artist in Residence in Woodville until Easter this year.

 

A welcome will be held at the Nibbley Pig Café, 75 Vogel Street, Woodville from 4 pm to 6pm.

 

It is planned that anyone wishing to come and set up their easels in the car park beside the café and display or produce an art work during this afternoon (1 - 6 pm) will be most welcome. There has been some interest in an art street day, this is now happening so here’s your chance to participate.  

 

Formal welcome will be at 5 pm with some light refreshments available, café will be open for usual business, eg coffee and tea for sale.
